Our story begins in Sri Lanka, one of the world's most celebrated tea-growing regions. In the late 1800s, our great-great-grandfather, Francis van Reyk, established the Diagama Estate, beginning a family tradition that has spanned five generations of tea merchants and blenders.
In 2007, Capital Teas was created to bring that heritage into a modern context. While our roots run deep, our focus is simple: crafting exceptional teas and botanical blends that support everyday rituals and modern wellness.
