Matcha Symphony, rated as "Ceremonial Grade" matcha, is organic and of the highest quality -- and it is quite exquisite!

Our Matcha Symphony, a fine powder of ground premium quality Japanese green tea, is one of our finest teas. Matcha tea plays an essential role in the Sadõ, the Japanese tea ceremony built on the four principles of harmony, purity, tranquility and respect. First practiced by Zen monks in the 15th century and later by the Samurai and the upper class, Sadõ continues today. Whether your tea ceremony is a formal affair or just your morning ritual, Matcha Symphony will start it off with style and panache.

Good for culinary use, maybe? June 3, 2017
Reviewer: Christy Guo from Brandon , FL United States
I've been drinking matcha and trying different brands (companies) for a while. So far this matcha tea offered by Capital Teas is the second to the last on the list. When I first opened the container, I have already known that I made a mistake to purchase it. The color is far from vibrant green, it is almost army green, even has a hint of yellow. It smells a little stale, a little dusty, a bit like old hay. Still I made myself a small cup of usucha (thin cha). There was not special matcha vegetal aroma at all. The color was awful dark green. I gathered my bravery and took a zip of it. It tasted so bitter and astringent that literally gave me a shiver and wanted to spit it out.
Maybe I am spoiled by the taste of real good ceremonial grade matcha. I even doubt if this is good for culinary use. With a pice tag of $36 for 1oz, it's a ripoff. For this price, one can get authentic good ceremonial grade matcha shipped from Japan directly.

Organic Matcha Symphony March 22, 2017
Reviewer: Jennifer from New Hampshire, United States
The tea at 1 tsp is too strong for my taste. But 1/2 tsp is perfect, and it is just a few sips to finish the cup. I make it in a cereal bowl as I don't have the proper cup. But I like the good feeling I get after I drink my small cup. Thank you.

This tea is great for the mornings when I need to get a lot accomplished in the day - without the jitters from coffee!
