Description

Known as the ‘People’s tea of Japan’ or 'Popcorn Tea', Genmaicha is an all day tea. Roasted rice kernels add a slightly toasty and nutty flavor to the tea, resulting in a refreshing and clear liquor tinged with a slightly olive tint. This tea’s aroma has spicy warm hues of roasted rice. Pairs well with sushi and other Japanese food. Wonderful!

I dont tend to enjoy green teas. I drink them but I dont get them. Hopefully you all are following me. Anyway I think I found a green I can get behind! The toasty and nutty flavor is awesome in this green tea. So flavorful and yes I may have eaten the rice pieces too. I cant describe the smell for you because I cant really smell a thing at the moment. But I will tell you this has turned into my afternoon go to cup since i picked it up last weekend in DC. :)
